Our floating cranes are moved by our own push tugs. That makes us flexible 24 hours a day and quickly deployable, at favourable rates.

The fleet
Elja 2 through Elja 8, moved by the push tugs Ronald, Adrianus and Romira.
Floating forces deployed daily throughout the port area.
Capacities are averages per floating crane; the full specifications per crane are on the fleet page.
A passion for the stevedoring trade: short lines, familiar faces and a fleet we sail and operate ourselves.
Over the years we have greatly expanded our stevedoring activities. Our firm now has seven floating cranes and three push tugs. These floating forces make us flexible 24 hours a day; combined with the short lines in our family business, we guarantee our clients a fast service.
Partnership
A. Brussé en Zn. and the storage and transhipment company Nieuwe Waterweg Silo in Schiedam have the same owner and work closely together. Where Brussé is mobile with floating cranes, Nieuwe Waterweg Silo has fixed shore cranes and silo storage at its own quay. Together that covers transhipment mid-water as well as at the quay.
From grab to crane jib and from coaster to push tug: this is what transhipment on the water looks like.
To maintain and where possible improve the quality of our services, we are certified for quality and safety.
A. Brussé en Zn. has held the GMP+ certificate since 2009. This means we comply with the strict requirements for the transhipment of, among other things, agribulk.
We are also ISO 9001 certified, including the capability of loading and unloading SOLAS bulk carriers.
